I just had my first ride with my holds from Tom21 and am very happy with them. They are very comfortable b/c of all the padding you can fit in them. I have 1/2" on the bottom and 1" on the top inside the holds, plus turf top and bottom and they fit my size 12 Asics just right.

I have not tried the Tom21 holds, but I really like the idea of having more room to fit padding in the holds.

here is my opinion on this. everyone will make recomendations on what they like but you are the one that is ultimately using them... try riding a few different boats with diff footholds installed to get a feel for what you like. don't go solely based on the recomendations of others

The ones on ebay look kind of like the watercraft factory holds.

i live in lakeland florida i dont know anyone with a stand up that has footholds so see what feels good or not. what do i do

drive 45 min. to the tampa bay area. there are a lot of different footholds in the ride group here.
