Hello all, it looks like I am getting a pair of dual 46 buckshots.

Can I get my OEM Duall 44 Manifold bored out or should I get an aftermarket intake?

Also not sure about how I want to run these yet. Heres what I have/am getting let me know what you guys think.

Dual 46 Buckshots
Dual 44 OEMs

Thought of running a singel buckshot 46 ran across my mind.

Open for suggestions and criticisms.

Thanks,
Andre

1.) Sell buckshots
2.) Use money to send OEM carbs to Jetworks to be blackjacks
3.) Use 44mm OEM carbs that are now Blackjacks
4.) Profit $$$

super-ski (Dave) tried 44 buckshots....

1) pain in azz to dial in.
2) have gas can nearby they dump fuel !
3) hit well on midrange just ok on low end.
4) better used as a race carb not freestyle.
5) do a search...u will see same.
:grumble:

Team Scream says the same thing about Blackjacks. It's a racing carb and not really designed for freestyle....just what I was told.

You were lied to or either someone ignorantly told you that. I'm betting on the latter since Team Scream has a pretty good reputation.

Why do I want to call them? Why do I care what they think about a carb that they obviously do not know much about? I know they work. I use them, and have ridden kick ass ski's that run them as well.

Art at Jetworks is setting up a set of duals for me for freestyle. His suggestion, run the stock dual 38s but he taper bores and removes the bomb site. The smaller 38 can move the air through quicker on tne low end (less volume) than a set of dual 44's giving more low to mid hit. For top end you would want to blackjack and go BIGGER 46-48.

He is a wealth of information and can steer you in the right direction for your set up.

I think you may have misunderstood him. He is probably recommending the 38's because you already have them, and they are all your particular engine needs.
