reassembled my SN and rode yesterday :Banane01:

hit the bilge switch a couple times and nothing came out
new midshaft must be a good seal
but after some cold water stabs, still no water
took it home and removed hood. whenever I hit the bilge switch
I get a steady spray of water on the back of the ebox :261:

good thing I got yanking the motor down to a drill

Make sure the outlet penetrates the hull somehow. No point in pumping the water to inside the hull.

thought I would have to, but managed to get my hand
behind the protec pipe to redo the bilge line
it probably would have been easier to pull the motor
but I got lazy

Where is your bilge mounted? That doesnt make much sense if your bilge is mounted under the coupler and your outlet is on the dash.

I dont want to put bilge slime in my tray

if you put the outlet on the side of the dash and angle it up and over the gunwhale, very little gets in the tray. It just shoots over the gunwhale.
