hey shawn, where in FL are you headed? in fl, youre allowed an 8'6" width trailer. since most standups are about 7'6", you should be okay. its no wider than an obnoxious hummer.
btw, heres my hauler.....
i built one two years ago... used it a few times... if you want it ill let it go for 40 bucks...
i found its not worth it for me to try and load/unload myself because its made out of painted steel and all i ride is salt.
mine is the 4.7... less power and drinks just as much gas.... it does alright though.
i bought it with a flowmaster 40 and k&n FIPK intake on it.
now i put some different rims and tires on it. my next step is to buy some tires that actually look right with the body/susp lift. i just don't want to shell out 800 bucks for 33's.
I am thinking 2 inch stock into the receiver then the 2 other bars be C Channel that a 2x4 can fit in tall ways and I can drill holes along the bottom to screw the 2x4s in. I would brace the hell out of it too.
What do you think for Sizes here?
I don't know about that. You wouldn't want the tow point that far back
