Thanks for the video!! would of been better if the waves were .. well were larger..

I rode in Port Aransas last weekend. Waves were as big or bigger all weekend than they were on the Friday of the Surfside ride. Water was clear and blue as well.

Man, Ya'll are dedicated. I rode out to the oil rig Sunday when the rain finally broke for a few hours. But other than that I was in awe at ya'lls ability to ride in the worst weather TX had all winter. Way to go. Here is some footage from Saturday.

Ahhhh, MUCHOS GRACIAS SENIORS!! It was surreal being 5+ miles out in open ocean dangling my feet off the back of my tray. Wouldnt have done it without my couch escorts. That was very cool. I thought about that oil rig ride the other day at the lake when a largemouth bit my entire left foot as I hung my legs off the back of my tray near a dock. Glad the fish at the rig didnt, they all have teeth!

couldve if I hadnt screamed like a little girl and fell off my ski. Actually kicked the fish out of the water, he had my whole foot in his mouth. Left a nice raspberry on my big toe. Ive been nibbled on by perch and bluegill but a 3lb bass chompin on my foot was a first!

Man it was great, nice leisurely way to go home. Told the guy at the ferry my gas can was full of water (it was) and he did'nt even check. Rained all the way home. Bigger surf at Galveston than we had all weekend.

After you said you were going to do that, I said it'd be fun to rent a jeep or convertible for the weekend & just start driving the beach. Might have to actually take my own suggestion & do it this summer:woot:
