Best way to patch small holes??

There are 5 holes in my 550 that need patching, one on the top of the rail someone drilled into it, and 2 on each side where the factory sponson things were mounted. I looked into epoxy resin from some webside and that would cost me nearly $30 shipped and i only need a fraction of what i would get. Is there a better way to seal the holes what will still allow me to paint over (white)?

if you can, put some packaging tape on the visible side of the hole and fill it from the back side so that is will be smooth and match the outside. peel off the tape when it's dry

Cant get to the other side, ill just sand it when im done. Where can i get some of this JB Weld?

Ok, and when i go to apply it, will i need to squirt some out into a cup or something and mix it or will just squirting it together mix it enough? im sure it will have some directions, but figured someone may know off hand

yeah, marinetex is good stuff. it's white too already. I used it on the bottom of my xp hull once, and that stuff stayed on forever.... well... forever until someone stole the boat. Boaters World has marinetex ....heck, I think Wal-mart might even have it.

I got some loctite 7 minute epoxy stuff. It contains epoxy resin which is what i was told to use with SMC so it should work. I filled two holes, ill see how it holds up once it cures
