hid did good, but was nothing for Reed to hunt down. He will have to get a lot faster... Plus, half the riders were down on the start. Great race to watch... I love when the fast riders have to pull through the pack and fight for it... Bubba got screwed, but it happens
I was stoked on Devalos (sp) but he fizzled out w/ that Pro Circuit Kawis on the move... One guy went down hard right in front of us and he was pissed off when they would not let him continue the race. WHy would they red flag him after wrecking??? just safety?

, I was there... practice laps are just that... THEY DON"T COUNT.I know who he is and like I said, he will need to be faster to beat the best guys. W/ that said, he mopped up the rest of the group wich says a hell of a lot... I give him mucho props, he aint no bubba, but who is??? One thing I didn't get was why he was racing a 450??? when did that happen? I thought he was suspended or something..

he's got the speed, i think what you mean to say is that he needs the fitness.
he just doesnt train hard enough. if that kid trained like reed/carmichael/stewart, he'd be unstoppable (well, 3rd place every weekend aint bad in the 450 class!)
i think you'll see more jlaw podiums since he's funding his team out of his own pockets now and he needs to keep paying the bills!

when I talked to him (j-Law) about an hour before his first race the kid looked like he was ready to lapse into a coma. I heard from some of the rockstar crew later on that he had been out till like 4am partying the night before. Thats not how you win championships. He'll learn as he matures.

Barcia is fast.. but the pros are just undeniable how fast they go. In am racing barcia never had anyone push him. Get stroupe or pourcel out there with some pressure, and he'll choke/fall/do something that will cost him wins/podiums. He needs to ride the bike alot better too.... If you read up on some interviews riders say that a championship requires a bike that will run perfect for all 24 motos. He's not "easy" on a bike, (non of the pros are) but you gotta find that balance to keep your motor together for 30 min pluis 2 laps. And i just don't see that happening for 24 straight motos. Plus, those works bikes are time bombs as they are, bounce the rev limiter for 20 min, and WHAMOOOO!!!
