finger throttle/cable

so i want to get rid of the crappy thumb throttle and put a finger throttle on it. i havent taken apart the throttle yet but i am wondering do it need to buy a throttle cable also or does the stock cable fit into a finger throttle already. maybe i missed the information on this while researching...

your stock cable will work with most finger throttles.

ok...would happen to know how long of a throttle cable i need. sorry im not gonna be near my ski for a couple days.

you wont need one. buy the right lever. if it says it is for the x2 or kawasaki 650 550 stand up it will work.

i have billet one i used on my x2 for a season. pm me if interested. not sure of brand, but it looks nice and works with the stock cable.

I just bought one for my ski.. fairly deer $80AUS new no way of getting oe secondhand........ what is the advantage of them really anyway?? Only thing i can think of is your thumb doesnt opperate as well when on full lock as well??
