Honestly I would say its about the same as a squarenose with a blown motor and bad pump..I wouldn't give any more than a few hundred.

crank is the most expensive thing right? a few hundred should get you some cyl, pistons and cases on ebay. since there are only 2000 sold in the US, id pay 500. there are a few people on the boards who are gonna do the pump swap so i bet you could get a pump at a good price or pay 600 to bonzai bob and get the superjet pump in there

If it's all stock with everything but a blown motor, I think $500 is a steal. Most stock FX-1's go for $1500-$2000. You can buy a whole new engine, pipe, and some other goodies for an extra $1000-$1500 and you'll be much better off than a normal stock one.

well i went and looked at the ski and the hull is in fair shape couple of nicks in the bottom but nothing real bad. the pump was spinning freely so i geuss it will be alright.the stator and fly wheel all looked good and the carb and reeds just need to be cleaned. ebox had some corrosion and the start stop was hacked up. it looked like the inside was reiforced but i dont know the sides where a darker looking color than the rest of the inside of the hull. he said he wanted 600.00 bucks?

600 is a good deal imo. I'd buy it if I wanted an fx1. I think I paid 850? for the one I bought with a blown motor...but it had a BPIPE and good elec system.
