I'v saved up close to a 1k for a handlepole. Any thoughts on which one I should buy would be great! Its for freestyle I was thinking adjustable would work best because I'v only rode on a stock pole and have no clue what length would suit me best?

save $ and cut your stocker.... don't know what lengths to do then do a little at a time and don't expoxy back together until you find the lengths you like.

Most do anywhere like 2-3 off the bottom and another 1-2 off the top to change the arch in the pole.

umm? how about riding other peoples skis to find what you like. or cut like said before and spend the money on something else... pipe, TL, etc.

I only know a few people around here that ride stand up and there poles are stock! Ummm...So yea I don't have very many options when it comes to riding other peoples skis!

im very pleased with my XFT, but until you know what length i would cut the pole or just get a short steering plate. also im sure others are this way to , but my xft wont accept a stock turn plate so you will probably need other things to make the a/m pole work as well.

what mods do you have already? more then likely the grand would benefit you a lot more somewhere else. just dont go and blow it on paint haha

edit: i did mean to add that i also love the stock RN pole, its very light, strong and if shortened right can last you many years without an issue just ask superjett. i think his is 6 years old and still holding strong.

if it is an SN ditch that badboy as soon as you can lol

Well so far I have a clean 96rn, factory mod pipe, ADA girdled head with 35 or 33 domes, just got an msd off amazon, solas 13/17 impeller, r@d scoop intake grate, riva ride plate, freestyle cone, jetted dual 38s stock reeds and manifold.....pretty much have the bolt ons covered.
So now Im thinking of just chopping 2 off the pole? Which still leaves this money burning a hole in my pocket!

nice man sounds like a great ski to ride, if your still using the stock turn plate and bars you could spend a couple hundred on a billet short plate.

yeah, I have beat pretty hard on my stocker expecting it to crack ,but it hasn't. I don't use a limiting rope in the surf and still haven't had problems.
Make sure you are really fussy when prepping the surface for the epoxy. Get is roughed up really good and down to bare surfaces.
I am -4 on my pole and have a -1 turn plate. I am 6'3" and still like it.

Do you have footholds? I would do that and lowered pole bracket.
