Your going to have to cut them off. Then cut the metal end caps off the bars to install different grips. Stock bars suck. Get new bars & grips at the same time.

Does it improve the steering that much better than 20$ grips? I was also thinking 0degrees would feel awkward since Im new to riding.

Leave your grips on the stock bars and go with Zero degree Star Bars with some badass ODI Yeti's.

Listen to Scorn, he is smarter than we.

So Im takin 1/2 of Shos advice, I like the Star Bars, but Blowsion has some white grips that just look sooooo nieece home slieece.....should I trash the stock bars? Are they worth anything? I also bought a heat gun to remove my factory stickers, I know to be careful with the heat and the razor blade, do ya'll know of any other problems I'm likely to encounter that I can head off now?

Keep the bars, someone might want them or you may break yours and need a quick fix.

Keep the stock graphics for now. A bare hull looks like hell. (to me)

Heres One, Is something missing from this picture?

I noticed there are "empty" threaded holes around the engine of the SXR. Am I missing something or are these there to enable aftermarket additions or maybe a bilge pump? Just seems strange to see empty holes. :sadwavey:CIMG2266.jpg

Ya know I was just thinking that footholds and turf aughta be real helpful for carving or jumping. I like both, would any of the holds interfere with any future pipe upgrades?
