UMI straight / curved throttle difference?

I have unsucessfully tried to search for this, it must be out there but I can't find it :sad6:

What is the difference between a straight and curved umi throttle? Which would suit general freestyle / surf riding / wave jumping?

do you mean straight and angled?

angled sucks IMO. very uncomfortable. youre pulling the lever 'under' the bars instead of directly into them, like a straight pull.

Angled for sure, Best for freestyle. It really comes down to personal preference.... Try both out if you can

my buddy has an angled... has been running it for three years...


this year he is convinced he hates it.... i told him he hates it three years ago.... it just took him till now to figure it out:fing02:

I would love to have a twist throttle on the ski since it is like second nature to me coming from dirtbikes. Wasn't sure how it would work out with the pole moving up and down though.
