I put some in the bond line in my tray and its been a week and its still liquid.... I put an infared paint curing lamp on it and everything. I dont think im gonna do this in the engine compartment..... I want to start glassing so I can foam but this shiit is not hard at all. Does it GET hard?

should I use it on the bond line in the bilge area or just use resin? to seal it up? I dont want to faom my bondline before I reinforce and have it leac and waterlog that foam....

Probably on the inside of the tray.

And it says right on the tube that it dries in 5-7 days, so give it some more time, chief.

maybe im having an extended brainfart. where is the bond line inside of the tray? are we talking about sealing the footholds?

maybe sealing the bulkhead?

When you cut the tray out to defoam you access the bondline in the rear of the hull from there. Step away from the Coors Light Charlie, you've probably done this yourself a dozen times...:stups:

What temp is the ski in? I used the "nonfast-cure" 5200 to install my tubbies 2 springs ago. Temp was about 50daytime and 30's night. 6 days later it still did not cure...at all! I ended up pulling the tubbies off and reinstalling with fast cure and wrapping the ski with elec blanket to keep it around 60-70F...LOL

okay, so thats the bond line. that isnt inside the bondline inside the tray.... its the bondline, in back of the bulkhead, on either side of the tray.

not nitpicking here..... just trying to figure out where hes talking about.

i would just glass it really good and stay away from the 5200.
