I went to the south end of Lake Tarpon today just to let the skis run the fogging oil out of them! I was so tempted to go out on the lake but didnt........I think it would be a better Idea to go out there with someone else for safety reasons!!!

we are 15 min south of tarpon springs. (dunedin causeway) give us a pm and meet us out there :wavey:
friday after/ durning work ride, saturday morning looks good too.. we most likley will have 3-5 people friday saturday more..

the (flat water) big boys ride at the very north end of tarpon on maybe saturday or sundays.. the rest of us low lifes ride the duck pond of mexico..
cold fronts and storms are what we ride..

Cool......I have never ridden in the surf so I am excited and nervous at the same time..............Im sure I will prob love it!

I do not have straps or foot-wells........these are mandatory for surf riding...........correct??


Its suppose to be like 80 degrees and sunny tomorrow..........anyone going to causeway or Tarpon??

you don't have to have straps or holds. I don't use either on my ski when surf riding/slashing.

surf isn't that hard when you're at an inlet like dunedin causeway

Yeah..........not happy about flushing the ski..... :-(

I did coat my engine really well with Fluid Film

I only live like 8 miles from Tarpon so I may just swing past there after I ride salt!!

Does anyone on here or PWCToday.com LIVE ON Lake Tarpon?????

It would be cool to have a dock or something to stop and chill on once in a while........just laying in the water isnt going to work for me!!

Its been a goal of mine for like 6 years.....either Tampa FL or Scottsdale AZ.........I need the ocean!

I got awesome work experience in WI and am seeing many jobs I like in The tampa area!...........large Corporations also love the work ethic from the Midwesterners!
