I say both- now they can superman across the lake without churning their beer gut.

goal for most sitdown riders seems to be not to get wet, smooth ride, go fast, look cool.

I think this falls in the line of the Polairs's Quad auto tranny. It was a hit with the fatties and women. But the real riders quickly found out the tranny had to much lag and even polaris realized this. The faster Polaris quads come with a clutch and shifter peg.

Its just something else to break.

While they are giant, ugly machines gotta give credit to seadoo for adding a brake. There are many people on the water with more money than brains, this may save a few lives.

Personally I think it was a smart move for them. I know a couple people that have money and ride jetskis, and they love the idea. They have nice cars with nice suspension, why not have a nice jetski with nice suspension?

Seadoo has to make those sorts of people happy, or else they wont be around very long. They have already tried to please the standup crowd, and I guarantee they lost their a** on that one...dont really see them trying it again any time soon.

i think the 3-D needs that suspension too, its a rough ride I tell ya and it would sure help for doing flat water backys on my 3-D... especially when I ride it in com-mode.
