Surf Conditions and Tide Level

Just curious if anyone knows what they are predicting for weather/surf next weeked and also if the mean tide levels are high or low this year? Last year seemed really tight on the beach in the morning.

Im planning on pulling a 16ft enclosed on the beach in the AM and am hoping theres enough beach there.

high tide is at 1pm and the surf will not be know till then.. It's been small, but that can change at any time. I feel pretty good, because it has been bad lately so it has to get better some time and odds are getting better the longer it's like this... Weather is gonna be in the 70's and clear skies. that will be good weather w/o it getting too hot. It's been too hot lately.

no... it will be fine. We have a lot more sand than last year. It was high tide at mid day last weekend and there was tons of room...

Two-footers is NOT good....
But yeah, the longer the surf is crummy, the better the chances are that it's decent when we get there. :grumble::damnit:

EXTENDED OUTLOOK: The 5-Day above ain't a pretty forecast with the small to near flat surf and colder air settling in, producing a multiple-day run of 1' or smaller surf. To end on a semi-positive note, I still see the tail end of the medium-range model run hinting that the northern and southern jet streams will phase just off the east coast next week, spawning a strong coastal low off the eastern seaboard that will pinwheel a series of strong Arctic cold fronts (with a sizeable north popsicle ground swell) down the coast mid-week. The frigid air spilling out of northern Canada may be the coldest outbreak in years, and could build the first large winter north swell of the New Year. Stay tuned for updates as new forecast data arrives. -Dean

small stuff can be a lot of fun too. You just won't see as many aerials and you'll see some more busted fiberglass from those that don't scale it back. I'll have fun either way. Just hope for more than 2 sec period

Just wanted you all to know that I rode the ski today.........and there was three to four footers out there....GREAT SURF....there were 5 X2 out there.......

Sounds like fun, cant wait to get there on thrus.

Current small swell looks to hold for the weekend, and then slack a little mon-wed then a new swell starts to fill in on thurs. into the weekend.

3-4 footers will be just fine (as opposed to flat water)
