I wonder if either party has considered licensing the CAD file and then editing the file accordingly to match the X-Scream porting. Heck, a file with all the detail except the port area in question would be a huge starting point. X-Scream can create their own cases anyway given enough time, but this seems like an easier way for all to be happy and work together. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah a licensing agreement that was iron clad, so the file could be shared without fear, and props given to those that yurn for that sorta thing.

hey C.J., you do realize that Brian just posted about these cases about a month ago, you were doing alot of your research before and around the World Finals......

Yes of course. I was referring to what guided me to the most sought after components and builders. Almost everyone said XMetal/XScream. Brian and Dasa'a names never came up in my research, not taking away from what they have done in any way, it just never came up.

Well, for your case, DASA/Lamey does not really offer the services that XScream does. You do not have to run one of the XScream 1000's (there version of an aftermarket cylinder). You could have them build you a lamey or even build a motor off a 61x based cylinder, they can do it all and have packages for all your needs..... That is the reason everybody steered you to XScream. X Scream could have offered you a Lamey motor had you asked.. They are going to push their motor first.

Xmetal has already been paid so yes I have to run there motor, plus I want to run there motor, or I would have bought the Lamey in the interim. Patrick will make me some cases soon enough or somebody else will, thanks. :trink26:

Do you take bare hulls, build them up from scratch to a full on freestyle spec using your pole, bracket, steering?

That is what I am referring too. Do you also build your hulls and hoods?

DASA only builds and installs motors and motor components.

why not get x-scream to provide the cases to go alone with his cylinder? Is it just because you have to have billet cases? for bling factor? not trying to be a dick but x-scream must offer cases that work with his cylinder, please explain the problem, i am a little slow.
