66E home made 90 degree carb mounting

66E boyseen RAD valve to 90 degree.

Here is a way I came up for quick fix for making my own 90 degree carb mountings.

I used Boyseen Rad valves from 1200R / 1300R carb models.

Pictures:
1 shows stock valve.
2 shows stock valve cut flat and two mounting holes.
3 shows WDK adapter.
4 shows 62T. This has not been cut yet. (back and front side)
5 shows how the ports match to the WDK. Note RAD has not been touched yet and once machined it will change to the oval shape like 62T or WDK.

Free quick print if anyone wants it. NOTE if you 62T mani you still have to cut about 3-5 degrees on the carb mounting face or else the carbs will lean into the cylinders.

Thanks to Tom (supperamjet) for his input. Tom these are yours.

62T and PDF print, once i get the 62T cut up and mounted i will post it, by eye it will mount perfect wit the same type of mounting as the WDK.

Awesome job!

The 62T intake manifold looks like an R&D from the carb spacing.

Will that intake work on the 66E without cutting it in half?
