I have an fx1 and love the beast! But my over passion is fmx and on my dads gp1200 I learned a handful of tricks and the 180 stabs were a blast. I learned seatgrabs on my cuz's wave blaster and thats a real fun ski also but real unstable sometimes on the landings(im a big dude).

I like the "couch" feeling of the gp but also like the unstableness of the blaster. I saw a video of a guy busting out on a waveraider and was wondering if anyone knew how they are in the air? also the blaster 2?

I know its my choice but would like to hear what you guys think about whats a good ski. thanks Barney

wave raiders are great in the surf. there are alot of mixed opinions on them though.
i started out on one and still occasionally hop on it and go into the surf. we've got the 701 and 1100 models and theyre a blast. and as for the blaster id have to agree with the unstable part. if your not fairly small its pretty hard to get back on them especially in the surf.
my buddy has been able to almost pull a "roll" on our 1100 if i was to call it something. so theyre capable of some tricks in the surf.

there is a thread around somewhere about why some of the aussies run xps and xpls in the surf. they say the increased fuel capaccity is needed to get to their riding spot and the stability is neede for the BIG surf they ride in....

so if a you want bigger than a blaster id have to say go with a (cough) xp...i just puked in my mouth a little bit just typin it.

my parents used to have a 96 Spx and it was a blast

Use "couch"Feeling in a new sentence.

I like the "couch" feeling of the gp but also like the unstableness of the blaster.

When I am with the ball and chain we often get together to enjoy that "couch" Feeling.

i got my wife a zxi 1100 and it is pretty nice. good power and seems to be pretty nimble it gets some good air in the surf with the trim all the way up.
