So....it is getting COLD here...only 36 right now and the low is twenty freaking two tonight!!!!!!! ARG!!! :skull2:

I usually only hit the gym two nights a week because it is a pain in the arse to get there from work and home and stuff. I have been walking/running the other nights....but now that it is so damn cold I don't know what I am going to do.

Should I just bundle up and stay outside? I don't want to catch pneumonia or anything!

You got a do?

I love taking mine to the beach in blizzard conditions. Its a good workout and they sit and stare it you and bug you if ya don't take them. They are motivating.

Went down last night it was like 20 with 30MPH winds and 7 foot waves.

don't you just loose water weight though?

I didn't say anything about loosing weight. You probably do loose some water weight, but the idea is to hydrate before, durring, and after. I don't do it to loose weight durring the class.
If you burn 1,000 calories running and sweating you may loose water weight also. The idea in Bikrams is to increase your heart rate, stretch your muscles and strengthen using isometrics.

If you are looking to loose weight, I think a stronger cardio routine is better, Running, eliptical, and swimming, will help you drop weight faster than anything. I use Bikrams as a suplement to the gym and running. I'm not trying to loose weight, trying to stay lean and flexable.
