YES PLEASE!!!
Flood me with tips! I have no idea about my set-up wave, my timing, my posture, where I'm looking...
You're giving me gold here my man! Thanks!
Basiacally, I want to stay close to the bars, but toss my head back before the pump leaves the water, right? Does it look like I have enough juice to get one nosed in? Patrick and Jeremy both said it takes at least 800cc and a 70lb hull (or lighter) to pull one off...?
Thanks for the tips Pete. I'll try them out this weekend - unless there's waves on the big lake!
Yes. that is what I ment.. the smallest Flat backy was a 880cc heavy surf hull with great trim... I think with light ski and 800 with good trim and wake your golden.
Pat taught me flat backies and my only problem was wake... LOL
He finally told me to make a u wake and let the nose drop with a little speed and then I cranked into it and when I grabbed handful with both trim and gas, I instantly looked back and barely nosed in....
I was dropping the ski in the bottom of the wake and as soon as the nose hit the wake, full brap !
I was also pulling the nose towards me before I even left the wake (same time as trim and gas)
gave ski a little pre momentum.
Got a little better... and was noseing them in and riding away.. My problem to the day is a nice wake. the "U" wake worked the best for me.
I think its like any trick.. Time and practice.
Good luck.. I think you will nail it. :Banane01:
