Called TBM the other day to clear up some questions I had.

* 62t stator required
* All flywheels are now the square magnet version so it works with stock, msd, and advent CDI
* Made out of 7075 aluminum
* Torqued at 75 ft lbs.
* Price is still 599

Also sells advents and has some good curves and might be able to help you out if you buy both from them :)

We put one on our 800cc PV engine w/ an MSD enhancer, and WOW it really hit hard!
Not for wide open running (on my setup/set up for freestyle) but was pretty impressed on how it ran on our pump gas, stock pump w/ TBM, and stock 62T electrics system.
Edit: Uses std. aftermarket dual 46's on a Boyesen rad valve intake...

Here's a couple of pic's of our OEM '08 Yamaha with the 802cc PV X Scream engine I was referring to.

I'm still deciding on what i want to do
that ski is impressive, VERY simple and super clean setup
this is a ski not to be missed if you are in the market for a turn key setup

It was great spending time talking to you and PAt at Havasu
to bad that weather was lousy. the last two weeks have been spectacular here
go figure right.....

If i do go with a turn key setup, i want 850-950cc's (we'll discuss that later)

This engine @802cc is only 82mm X 76mm bore & stroke, sleeves can go up to 85.5mm max. (872cc)
My project I'm working on now is our 89mm - 91mm big bore (945cc-989cc) billet cylinder for the +8, 76mm cranks.

Where can I buy a 62t stator?
I have search every web site that I know about but can´t find any.

Buy used:
Ebay
This website
PWC Today

Or buy a new one from any Waverunner dealer. It's a stator of a 96+ Superjet

Do you need to modify the exhaust manifold and headpipe for this setup? What's the port configuration like compared to a Lamey? This is very nice looking.

Yes, You have to modify both the 'B' pipe exhaust manifold and headpipe to clear the PV top housing.

We built it from the ground up with 20 years of two stroke engine building, port mapping, testing different combinations and learning what freestylers want for power off the bottom. The PV's really help the top end power over a non-pv cylinder.
Remember we set a goal to make the most power out of the smaller bore engine with our port design to be able size the cc's to compete in under 800cc class and upgrade the bore to compete in the under 900 cc class.
This cylinder is not the same as the 7 port big bore 1000 cc cylinder, but has all of the same features.

Couple questions.....Any special steps needed when doing a TBM flywheel and msd enhancer? All tbm's worked with enhancer right? Differences?

With ALL my builds and tuning ski's, I check timing with a timing light!
In the times I have used a brand new MSD Enhancer and brand new TBM lightweight charging flywheel installed with brand new OEM electrics in new skis have been perfect @21 degrees with the stock mark lined up.
I would be careful about assuming that your timing is right with anything other than brand new OEM. (not any old parts or rebuilt's from anyone) I have seen timing not very close in some cases with old and/or mix of aftermarket parts.
