Ladies and gentlemen I introduce to you....

Noticed this when I bought it but just now got around to seeing what the deal was.....had to chip away at some of it to get to the bolts. Sorry for the bad pics but the two holes dripped a little water after I got the pump loose. Not real sure if this was a temporary solution or what.

how does it float? I am wondering if the foam is so waterlogged the PO put the foam on the pump housing thinking it might help it float.. Also I see the OEM bolt location are those holes under the OEM bolt location go to the foam?

Floats fine, nothing unusual noticed. No, the locator pin holes do not go to foam.

Mick, you still serious about footholds? Looks like it might be defoam/refoam too.......

Yes. I heard that others need to do it also. We talked about getting together at the white house to have a weekend of foot holds and turfing.
two needs holds and turfed and two others need turfed.

When are you planning that? I need to do holds, foam and turf. (And time away from screaming poop machines - with the exception of Penguin of course).

Not sure, would have to check with others. Maybe they will chime in.
