I found this nice gouge in my hull after pulling the X2 out Saturday,this is why it was parked Sunday,not because it didn't run,water was pouring out of the crack at a pretty good rate.Just add this to my to do list I suppose.

I looked at the battery situation today also,I hogged S out the foam in the box under the seat and dropped a jetworks battery in there,problem solved,F a little foam and a little glass and that part is done,nice part is other than having to move the ground wire to the other side of the engine no rewiring was necessary.L

Is the under seat battery covered up with something to seal the water out? I tried screwing plexiglass down, but water kept getting in there and shocking the living crap out of my throttle finger while riding in salt water.

And that crack should not have stopped you from riding. Thats what bilge pumps are for.....lol

It wasn't a crack it was a hole about the size of a dime,my single bilge pump won't keep that kind of water out,BTW I went riding with Justin in Pcola yesterday. I let him ride it and I thought it was running strangely,I rode it and it had no brap,we went to put it back on the truck and three of us were straining to get it on the back of the truck. Water was pouring out of a hole about the size of a dime,it had to be close to halfway full,water must have ran out for about ten minutes.No prob I have a the ultimate fix and it won't happen again,nor will the engine ever contact the bottom of the hull again!

Sounds like you have engineering flaws. You should have called DBR to help you. I hear he has like 65 different engineering degrees.

No DBR just has a BS in BS,I don't think he can be of any help,I am going to need an afro engineer for this one.
