I havn't ridden in 2.5 weeks due to no time so I went to the lake thursday with wheels. After 5 minutes and 3 stabs and a couple of subs. I worked up the balls to work on my rolls. Hit the throttle and jumps out of the water right in between the waves of my wake (perfect) When to hit the throttle, tuck and WEEEEEEEE WTF was that noise.... Got towed in only to find out I F-ing stripped out my drive shaft and intermediate DAM YOU CHUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

I may be done for the season now. I really don't feel like fixing it right now. My priorities have changed some in the past couple of months.

It is nice, Sucks both pump and intermediate were rebuild and in great shape when I put the ski together. If anyone has some used ones laying around let me know.

Everything was aligned perfectly.

It's just cooler to say your engine makes so much power that it's ripping your driveline apart.

That is my thoughts also. Went through 2 sets of shafts and couplers before I found out how bad mine was out of alignment.

If it was in alignment it may have just been wore out.


But it does sound better to say "My motor is so strong it caused my driveline to strip out"

Could of been a little miss aligned. But they do have the brap !

Brent, dont sweat it, Should have a driveshaft here by the end of the week for you.
Just make sure its aligned right !

How old were they? Mine are the originals from 96, and it was a raceboat before I got it in 2001. Last time I had it out, it looked very good, some wear but not much considering it's age.

I expect it to go out eventually, just hopefully not at a freeride.
