Throw it away and make one out of Hydroturf. They turn out great and looks great also.

Or buy a dye from an automotive paint supplier that they use to dye soft top convertables and spray it on yourself. Hydroturf also looks good. Just don't throw away the old piece, sell it on fleabay and somebody will buy it.....

I got rid of mine and glassed over the screw holes years ago.
No reason for it really, its not like that little hunk of plastic is going to protect anything in a collision. (If you are insane and want to race the fx1 you do need something on there though)
Just BTW Ive seen a couple of custom cowl jobs that come up over the pole mount.
I don't think that looks that great personally, but do a search if thats what you are after.
