okay, now I know I've asked this before but I forget what the answer was. I think it was back before last season I asked where to get stainless metering block screws from? Actually I remember that it was a kit to replace all the screws with stainless ones. I need to get some this year for sure. Thanks.

I got that kit too...I ordered it last Spring, and thought I'd lost it or installed it in GP I sold. But I found it again during my move.

If you do mess them up, buy replacement screws from mcmaster, but get the oval head philips screws. There is more meat to grab onto, and they are stainless.

18-8SS Metric Oval Head Phillip Machine Screw M4 Size, 16mm Length, .7mm PitchIn stock at $8.60 per PackThis product is sold in Packs of 100

And for the needle/seat/lever arm screws:

18-8SS Metric Oval Head Phillip Machine Screw M3 Size, 8mm Length, .5mm PitchIn stock at $4.17 per PackThis product is sold in Packs of 100

Yes you get 100 of each, so you can do 50 individual carbs for $13. Not bad. You can have them in less than 2 days with normal shipping.

I don't like that he uses Allen heads, so I bought all oval philips heads from mcmaster.com, one screwdriver can take my entire carb(s) apart.

Do you have some part #'s?

I just need the metering block screws. :smashfreakB:

If you have a hardware store near you that has a "Hillman Fastener Center" in it, they should have the screws.

an Ace Hardware or Sears Hardware would be your best bet.

Maybe you would like to mail me four metering block screws?

Because I love you?

I'll go check if I have any because I seem to remember that I lost/couldn't find them last time someone wanted some, or I gave them away or something. I'll have to wait until it quits raining since I might melt, and then I couldn't mail them for sure.

You are seriously in luck. I did give away most of them, but had enough left to do 4 more carbs. Since my love is so strong, you need to send me an address.
