put it though the holes already in the dash, if you have a 45degree fitting you can have them shoot right over the side of the tray....

the tray idea sounds fine if you've removed the fuel selector or choke. i still have both on my ski and do not plan on removing either. thanx though

frosty (or anyone else) could u post a pic or a link to a pic of the thru-hulls location. i like to see what it looks like before i drill anything.

how bout pumping right into the stock blige hose. i know its a smaller diameter but wouldn't that make for a cleaner install?

i use the choke at the beginnning of every day (cold starts). without the choke have u used primers? if so u'd still have the problem of no free hole in the dash.... don't want to get off topic...i'm just looking for examples of thru-hull locations. and any thoughts about pumping through the stock bilge hose

Make sure you check the insside of the hull to make sure the nut is going to clear any undulations in the glass. Put it up as high as you can, and a little bit forward of the firewall so it won't be underwater when you are idleing around. If not in yet, a good idea would be to ride, and see where the hull sets in the water when at low speeds (kneeling in the tray in no-wake zones, taking a breather between wave jumping sets etc.)

soul man thanx for that idea had not thought of checking first.

had the ski in the water saturday morning to check water levels etc. before doing the install on satruday night.
My ski tilts a bit to the right when sitting idle so i installed the thru hull on the left side, about 5-6in forward of the firewall. Hose loops in "void" space between firewall and b-pipe header, then down under coupler and into pump which sits on the right side of the shaft/coupler.
i used two part epoxy from the hardware store (the 4min quick cure type). Used 40grit to rough up the pump base and hull. positive (brown) lead wired to a 2.5amp inline fuse then battery. ground (black) lead wired to waterproof toggle switch (ziptied inside the hull) then battery.
Ran great all day yesterday. great job clearing the hull after subs and a few good wipeouts!!
