4mm restrictor, got one?

Apparently I need to put a 4mm restrictor on my pisser line in order for my Jetworks valve to operate correctly. Anyone got one they'd like to get rid of?
Not looking for a freebie, but 26 bucks plus shipping for a restrictor seems steep. Or what else could I use to obtain the same result?

I have an old 2.5 N&S, could I just zap that with a 4mm drill bit and chuck it in the cooling line before the pisser?

Yes, n&s work great, you can also go to Home Depot and get nylon spacers in several sizes like 3/16" which is just over 4mm.

you just need something to fit snug in the line and just drill a 4mm hole in it. i found some little plastic tubes at lowes i used this winter.

I use the nylon bushing things from lowes/home depot on mine a week or so ago when I was messing with it.

they seem to work fine, I used them on my old 750sx for a couple of years without issues too.

wait WUT? I took my restrictor out of my line b/c i upgraded to the pro valve. I saw nothing about running both the restricter and the valve inline? For some reason is this just for your setup? or is everyone running both?

Do it twice?That's DooDoo
restrictor not inline with valve... restrictor goes in the line going out to the pisser....at least thats what most people do... have heard of some people putting a restrictor in the same line, but that never made sense to me so I never did it...

Once again, you have to test on *your* setup what works best. Water pressure is a HUGE variable because of how people route their lines, what types of fittings they use, etc etc.

A restrictor in conjunction with a flow valve will limit the amount of water that flows yet still allow it to shut off at low rpms.

true, but the high rpms will clear out the waterbox anyways, so who cares about full amount going in at high rpms right? thats the way I figured it anyways....

The more water you put in the stinger, the smaller it's effective size is which increases backpressure and *can* increase rpms/power.

There are a ton of variables to look at.
