Looks like the 2008 Sortie doesn't get a spot on the front page but its coming up quick regardless. We are getting a ton more last minute interest, the weather forecast is looking resonable and I expect an awesome weekend ahead. Thanks to all coming from out of town to be here, cant wait to upload pics of our best ride yet!!!

I have a few more questions from everyone that is going and has been last year???

1.) Should I bring my own food or will there be food to buy off of people?? I only ask because Me, my girlfriend and buddy are coming up in my smaller Lexus RX300 SUV and there may not be enough room for a big cooler....two ski's on a trailer and one in the back of the SUV with 3 people also doesnt provide alot of room for a monster cooler!!

2.) How does getting to the sandbar work?? does a boat take our gear and we drive the ski's out at same time or is it a mutiple back and forth trip type of thing??

3.) What launch should I use??? We will arrive Friday around noon!

Just trying to make this go as smooth as possible!!

Thanks

Everybody who was there last year spends 99% of the time over here...you can post your questions there and get a bunch of responses much faster.

What I would say is

1) bring your own food, if you have little room, bring as much as you can and buy anything else out here (we are not far from gas stations, grocery stores, etc.) grab a couple smaller coolers and put them in the trays of your skis or on the roof rack

2)you show up, launch your skis and leave your gear (attended) on the beach/launch, a boat comes and grabs your stuff and anybody that does not have a ski and heads back and you ride your ski back

3)I sent you all the info you could ever need on launching, parking, eating, packing and riding if you have ANY questions you can call me on the number I sent you

I talked to Sean Harmon and he said he would be there on saturday. If you get a chance check out his 250 lbs EVO Pro. It is a easy ski to find in a crowd, just look for that big orange Trinity logo. If Sean doesn't mind pick up one side while he grabs the other and get a real sense of the weight. Hope everyone has a good time.

Hell yeah the Trinity Composites EVO Pro hull is absolutely a work of art. The fit and finish was amazingly flawless and the hull was stupid light. Great work guys!!!!

Thanks, I'm glad people were able to see it up close. Thanks to Sean for making the drive up on saturday. Also want to thank him for the effort in making the ski look so good. Thanks to the Sortie crew for such events that keep this sport going.
