How my riding day ended on Sunday

reminds me of when my ski almost sank on the 07 LSFR tryin to upright one and the guy was a tool and had no business being out on the water in the first place

all things considered...pretty damm good!

but I've had better
It's your well deserved parade my dear bird friend!
I would only like to mention that that's how an average weekend looks like for the Jetty Jumpers crew... Saving the dumbass boaters, helping the illegal cubans reach the land, righting a plane that landed upside down in the water, or trying to save the passengers of another plane that took a nose dive into the sand right in front of your reserved bar on the boardwalk, towing someone in in the 7'-16' nasty stuff... That's what we HAVE to do. That's our life on the water.
You did a great job! And, please, teach others around you how to do this in a case when a situation like this happens again. And it will happen, believe me.

Thank you,
Vitaly (The Jetty Jumpers)

what really gets to me was that this was the first weekend of the summer season - and the Sheriff's PWC was DOA.

and that the CG never showed up - the CG base is about 10 miles away, certainly close enough for them to have mustered a crew to send a rescue boat in the 1.5 hours I spent with these guys.

no ketchup.

a bit of mustard, some chili, lots of cheese. no fries or rings on the side....instead we had jalapenos stuffed stuffed with boudain & cream cheese.

The CG is usually busy on days like that, or at least the dispatchers are from my experience... The USCG is actually the only authority on the water that I have some respect for (Russian Navy takes the second place, ;) ).
