Lake Collins/Folsom/Rollins/Camp Far West ????

HI ,
I am looking for a good lake for memorial weekend, we wood like to join with some peeps for riding camping, not looking for crazy party too much we have a 3 year old just want to relax'n ride...

Where to go, which campground you recommend, good place to launch..

Any advice appreciated.

I live minutes away from Folsom but you wont find me there on Memorial weekend... scary :shocked:

Even normal weekends can be dangerous out there I prefer to ride when there's not millions of ppl and the chance of dieing is less. No joke, Folsom on weekends I spend more time watching my ass than having fun.

We are going up to Bullerds Bar just out side of Yuba City for Memorial day, there will be atleast 20 of us. Were do you ride in Nevada we are getting ready to move up there for work.

Which Marina will you guys be at ??

We have not decided yet but Folsom is out due to high + crazy traffic on the water...I have heard only bad for week-ends like this

We might be heading to camp far West for one day but not quite sure yet..

If you are moving to Reno let me know...there are plenty of places to ride but you will need to have adjustments made due to high altitude, I have 2 sets of domes on all my skis one for sea level and one when we ride here.

Great Lakes are Boca reservoir/Stampede/La Hontan/Pyramid Lake..

I didn't notice this was a post for last year, but we were going to go to Bullards Bar but my ski is costing us to much money to rebuild so we will either go out to Camp Far West for one day too or we just might stay the night , it was really nice there last year, any maybe go to the river or Folsom lake for the day. My family and I are moving up to the Reno area in three to four weeks, don't now were yet still need to find a house. haha i also live across the street from Folsom, i tie up when i go out there,, theres know way id be caught out there on a holiday, on a ski...

A) because i know how much i drink (dont drive)
B) i see how much others drink.. and drive... lotta morons out there specially coming from rattlesnake area...

but man there's alotta hotties out there... just not worth going on a ski haha, you miss everything...
