The chick in the background is smoking hot. I only looked at the pictures.
Yeah Cypress Creek's no wake zone is a 5-10 idle ride out to where you can ride but it's the closest public ramp to town. Smallish parking lot fills up quick there. If you have friends that keep their boats at Cypress Creek Marina or Anderson Mill Marina you can cut this to a couple minutes as they're further out.
As always, legal up on your stuff when visiting Lake Travy. LT popo don't mess around, seriously. Did you guys hear about Cedric Benson's trouble with them this weekend?

While I usually don't take the side of professional atheletes (and as a Red Raider cannot stand UT), I have met Cedric and he came across as a down to earth good guy.
Who knows how it really went down. I can just say from experience, you don't want to get pulled over on Lake Travis. They will, run tags, check license and registration, check sobriety, check for uscg approved vests, whistle etc etc etc. Never had anyone get just one ticket out there, if they find one thing, they'll find more. It's kind of like the Lays potato chip commercial with a twist. Betcha you won't get just one (ticket).
Be safe and watch for the drunks leaving the lakeside bars.
Come ride Lake Austin with us some time. Closer to town, Lake Austin police are nice, even helpful. Only downside is the water is COLD coming out the bottom of the Lake Travis dam. Then again, it's supposed to be 97 Friday and Saturday.
We put in at Mary Quinlan park. Will try and post next time me and buddy hit it there.
