Waterproofing spray?

Does anyone know of a way to waterproof a stock chinpad foam piece so it won't absorb water? Seems like I've seen some waterproofing sprays for fabrics that might work on the foam.

Thoughts?

spray will do no good and it wear off with time anyhow ( at least the out door clothing spray does. and that is used on a much tighter fabric
not a open cell foam

I run no pad with just diamond turf, if I hit the pad either way its gonna hurt, an inch of foam isnt going to help much.

An inch of high density neoprene foam might keep you from busting your mellon.

I'm sure John Havell would have benefited from an insulated pad and crossbar protection.

ya I normally where a helmet but it'll be my luck to smash my face foolin around one day.

i wear an old skateboard helmet when i'm just foolin around, instead of my full face one and I came about 2 inches from smashin my face last month when I was in florida. I'm thinkin the benefit of full face exceeds the cost of wearin it when I fool around now.

How's da U.P. eh?
