I need some help here please

Flushing is critical in salt, if you ride mostly in fresh you will be fine - flush kits are very easy to install/use, only a few minutes and it saves alot of corrosion down the road.

and if/when you ride in the salt and do any subs or anything make sure when your done riding you rinse out your engine compartment, save those motor mounts! :)

couple more questions.
helmets- seem a little strange to ride with in a lake but eventually id like to hit the surf. should i get one? and are they pretty much the same as motorcycle helmets or do they make specific ones for jet skis? links :)
whats a tubby?
and whats foam do.

if i found a partially loaded 99 for 2.5k id buy that fast.
i might buy that 95 from kurtwollf unless i find something else soon.

edit- o ya, how fast do stand ups go normally? our couch is pretty slow and only hits just under 50. will a freestyle tuned ski be able to top that? i wouldnt mind a little speed to go with some air (and lots of falling im sure) im excited, cant wait to get one and learn!

Think stock 650s(yamaha) go from 35-40, stock 701 superjets go from 45-50, most likely a freestyle ski will be more low end the high end but will still move pretty good. There has been lots of the 701 superjets go in the 2-3 range. As for what to buy I would get a 701 superjet so your not dumping money into an older 650 trying to make it a 701. If I woulda known then what I know now I would bought a round to start with... considering I have over 2k in my square superjet

look for a square nose sj or fx1. 90 to 95. Look for something with a 701. I wouldn't suggest leaving it tied up... just get a cart...or have a friend help you out. they are around 300lbs. Not light but doable easy.

turbo every time you post i watch it 5 or 6 times....maybe i'm lonely haha.

as for the helmets dude, definately grab a full face helmet. you don't want to become an organ donor because of some kid who's parents bought him a new sea doo. I just wear a moto helmet. Fly 606 III. I got it for under 100 on ebay and it looks pretty trick too.
