factory pipe question's

I am looking at a couple of pipes. what I want for my x2 750 conversion is a factory pipe SJ 701 mod pipe I already have a westcoast exh. manifold
is the factory headpipe the same for kawi 650 as is the yam. 701
I called factory pipe and they did not want to answer this question they really don't want to sell seperate part's either. does anyone know if there is a difference ?
just looking at the pricing it sure makes more sense to me to go with the 650 x2 pipe complete and watch for a used mod chamber later. :Eyecrazy:

They are not making the X2 pipes anymore, I just sold a mod chamber. The SJ headpipe is slightly machined different, best to find a 750/800 headpipe to go on your Westcoast and find a chamber.

They sold me a Kawi "A" headpipe and SJ limited chamber just over a year ago with no trouble.

just talked to them again today and I spoke with a gal she said no problem on purchasing a headpipe only $262.00 avail. end of may! yesterday I sure didn't get the warm fuzzy feeling maybe the guy was having a bad day.
my son just bought a 1988 650 sx and it has a like new fatty coffman pipe on it I am thinking of maybe the x2 with that pipe
