So this is what I have been running on my ski. My cylinders measure 83.5mm in diameter. It says 62T on them, so from what engine are they and whats the displacement do you think? And i am guessing the cases are 62T also, but why does it says 64V on that tag. Thanks for the help...

awesome. Thats what i was hoping for. Dumb question, but why are the cylinders silver and cases black? You think its put together from different years?

Yes, The darker silver is older, with a blue tint (like yours) then Yamaha went to black, now back to silver again, but a lighter silver than the early models.

No, You need to find a 61X-701 cylinder for ease of making power for freestyle (just a stock Superjet cylinder) I can make the 62T cylinder work but would need a fair amount of more work, you would consider that option for maybe an older all out big bore race cylinder that has a ton of porting and machine work done. Port timing too high for killer hit off the bottom with the 62T cyl. In order to make it work well you would need to mill the bottom of cylinder and sleeves to lower port timing, then make a special custom set of positive deck domes, then you need to spend some porting time getting the exhaust gasket area to match up perfect to the Factory Pipe manifold. Also you would want to helicoil (or timesert)the boltholes back to 8mm on the 62t cylinder.

Alright i am gona get on that 61x cylinder. what do you have to say about case porting, i have read some posts and some say it wont make any noticeable difference.

Yes, Case porting does help IMO, But engine building/modifying works as a complete package.
