My 2007/2008 Freeride SXR revamp aka shortening hull.

i was going to go the same rout with my drains, but thought about it and decided not 2 due to the fact u can service them, like the x-metal,wam,etc salt water is going to eat those and u wont be able to get to them without work..i have a advent and it didnt work with my jet fly, talked to greg desiner of advent told me the jet and some others dont work with his set up,just to warn u if u have a no spark issue.

Well then...if worse comes to worst I'll install a x-metal,wam,etc where it comes out into the tray. That was my original plan till I ended up not haning $150 to spend on them. I ride in salt water once a year so I'll think I'll be fine but I'll make sure to flush it out good.

Thanks for the heads up on the advent, I'll be putting the stocker back in then.

Advents for a SXR will work with a RAD wheel. that's the same combo I've ran in my surf boat.

Great work, boat is really coming together :Banane35:

Possibly not, I just don't know if the ski lands upside down do the tubes help to keep water from coming in untill the ski sinks below the tubes?

For those of you who asked about the trim...

I first used a blowsion skattrak trim cable but afther going through 3 of them in a month I decided I needed to redesign.

I bought the cable (minus housing) from TerryCable and used it in my skattrak housing. I made a Stainless Bracket for the cable - needs to be strong so it doesn't bend under the tension on the cable with the trim being in the up position.

Also with how the cable is connected to the trim nozzle, as the nozzle gets pushed up from hard landings it will just slide up the cable instead of binding and breaking the cable with the trim lever not pulled (what was happening with my blowsion/skattrak cable)

Very nice. I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. Now I finally understand why my cable is breaking.
