i have a hard enough time when my suspension is off by one or two clicks... i cant even imagine a dual sport suspension going into braking bumps or going over a big double.. yikes...

hey 'Saki.. to you do any woods riding?

I'd like to get a bunch of us together to do surf and then bikes while I'm down there the first part of may.

let's make this happen.

I need stats on your bike saki...

I think you will be suprised w/ this KTM... It looks and feels like a full on dirt bike.. Nothing like that thing above...

in mx, it's really all about suspension. you can roll up to the track in a bone stock bike off the showroom floor and lap the entire field. motor means nothing to guys like us. good suspension, however, will make you 10x faster quickly... not to mention save your life when you get in trouble.

This is why you see very few dated bikes at the track. this is the biggest diff between skiing and mx. with the skis, it's almost mandatory to have the oldest, most beatup boat (NICE boats are for posers). In mx, it's not so, you WANT to have the latest/greatest, at least frame/suspensionwise. mx stuff changes every year, it's not stale like the jetski crap is that never ever changes. they put millions into R&D'ing bikes every year.
