62t 61x questions

Hey all,
I am trying to get a 62t 61x and found someone to sell me a 62t bottom end with twin carbs for $300.

How hard to transfer electronics for the engine?
Is this a Good price?


Anything I Should know about this transfer?

That is a good deal; I assume it's 62T cases, dual Mikuni 38's on a manifold, and a crank? Great deal if its clean.

Putting 61X electronics on it is super simple, bolt your stator and flywheel on and you're good to go.

Yes, It is 62t cases with good crank, manifold and dual carbs.

How do I set the stator correctly? I am worried about timing, how does this work? Ive yet to replace stators.

Ditto-and that is a REAL good deal.
ie
good set of cases=200.00 or so
good set of 38's complete=150.00 or so
good 62T crank=175.00 or so

so your gettin 525.00 worth of parts for 300.00=good deal IMO

Ive always ran my 650 and 61x engines WAY more advanced that that, with an MSD enhancer too.
