What model polaris snowmobile cylinders will fit on the Octane case?
Same stroke or do the cyl have to be decked?

I have been looking at this myself. The cylinders for a 800 (700 also, but I don't know why you would do that) would bolt on fine and if you use pistons and heads made for those cylinders no machine work would be needed. The problem I see is cooling water routing. The pwc cylinders have passages on the exhaust side of the cylinder that cooling water enters the engine through. The snowmobile cylinders do not have these passages and coolant normally enters the engine through the crankcase. This would have to be overcome to make it work. I think it is possible. I think Maccluggage is doing something like this for the engines in his EME 800's.

i think you mean Malone

and call randy@watcon he can tell you what will and will not work for the octane

Your right I mean't Malone. Also, Randy is an excellent source for Polaris info. I just haven't called anyone about this because I have not decided I am ready to spend the money.
