Well We all know how handy these come in at the beach events. We brought a 4 wheeled Rolleze cart, rolled great but was a pain lifting skis on and off all day,Saw a few lifter carts that lifted great but rolled kinda tough, buncha winch carts,Im interested in knowing the pros and cons from the guys that own each type? maybe some pics. also take into account we have 50% b1s and lifter carts wont move these

do any of the lifter carts work with beach wheels or is the clearance to low?

I have the 4 wheel original rollezze. I think they quite making them because they last so damn long. Atleast 20 peepes borrowed it at Daytona and all loved it. It is a one man operation loading or unloading from your truck or trailer. Ive had mine for 15 years with heavy use and no preventative maintenance. Would buy another if they were still made like the originals. Loading in deep water in the easiest. If your on the beach loading is easiest with another person.

im gonna fabricate one that has a motor on it im gonna use a rototiller as a starting point cause i got sick of pulling the damn things around all weekend im lazy and love power ill make one see how it goes maybe itll work maybe it wont im gonna daybue it in daytona next year

Mybad: thats what we brought also, problem is 90% of the time the ski IS on the beach and needs to be brought up or down,if there were some way to make a removable front winch attachment it would rule, dead lifting superjets and especially Blasters onto it all day sucked

monster, rolling it around is no where near as bad as lifting them on,rolling is tiring but dead lifting is where ya take all the beating

Yeah, I agree. Lifting sucks. Maybe extend the rails for leverage then cover the rails with hard plastic.(like the kind they use on furniture legs for wood floors) Then you could get the rails under the front of the ski and slide the ski on. Just an idea. dono? SJ's are light right? I know my sxr is not.

Our 2 wheel Rolleez tips up at the winch end, hook to the ski in back and start cranking. Lifts it right up, then tip down as you lift and it's on the cart. Still a one-person unless you're really short. As I said, I can do it myself. It ain't easy, but I can. Usually one of my boys takes pity on me and helps before long, but I have done it myself plenty.

I don't think you can get them anymore, but you could certainly build/copy one. The wheels are the pricey part, but that style of smooth, balloon tires are the way to go if you can get them. They are SOOOO much easier to use/roll around everywhere (not just the beach) compared to our other carts we've had, it isn't even fair to compare.

slicker.. we have a cart like that made by someone else, its harder to load being higher with no winch and harder to push than the 4 wheel rollez

I'm not at home and not at my usual computer, either. I'll see if there's any pics of it in the gallery, but I don't think there's a good one of it in there.

I'll try to remember to post a pic tomorrow.

Edit: None in gallery of our cart(s), but one of our carts looks basically like D slicker's, no winch, rounded handle, "knobby" wheels. That's the cart that gets used as a garage stand most of the time and rarely travels with us. The rolleez cart is MUCH easier to use. We also HAD a cart that we have since given away or sold (I don't remember) because it wasn't as handy or sturdy as the rolleez and we didn't need 3 carts and didn't have room. It was the short, dual bunk type with a crank, but it has a fairly small, square-tube, painted steel frame that was already rusting when we got it used. The rolleez is all aluminum (and nylon bushings, etc).

we bought another used roleeze tonight to weld up some mods to and see how it works out, kinda like a hybrid of their 4 wheel and 2 wheel models, this one will have 4 wheels like the smaller unit but will have a removable front rail with a winch and a small trailer receiver, and some down drops welded on the other side that come near to the ground

Someone needs to post a picture of that dolly that just scooped the ski right up. That thing was super nice. It seemed to roll okish too.

yea they are very specific for superjets, dont think they even work with sxr skis either? thats their only downfall for a large crew

yea I think that is prolly the best beach cart made, you guys use the 4 wheel model?
