I have one just like it on the shelf.
You think some 5200 will fix it ?

I had thought about cleaning the outer bearing surface really well, then heating the rubber with a torch and seeing if it would stick, glue it in 5200, epoxy whatever.
its perfectly smooth, I dont think its been spinning.
pinning it with a couple of screws isnt a bad idea either.
ive got a few other housings, and bearing parts to mix and match from, but I think this one is workable as is.
Ill report back once its back up and running ( spring time)
If you strip your shafts because of that you'll spend closer to $300 to fix it with used stuff and you'll have a lot of work to do also .
I'd replace it :doh:
ahh, I did not think of stripping the drive shaft end, that might be a deal breaker for me, no fear of sinking, but stripping that shaft would bother me.
