a good example off always wear a helmet

i playing round at the lake last night playing round and running some bouys with some friends and wile we were play raceing down the back straight i got crossed up on some wake running wfo (my x2 has been radared at 53mph) the nose bit in and threw me over the bars and my head (with helmet on ) smashed into the hood . i rember when it was happening hearing a qood cracking sound and when i got back to the traylor found my helmet was broken . just goes to show how easy it is do do something like this so i know im defantly going to wear a helmet every time i get on my ski, rather smash a helmet than my head

just some scratches on the hood is all i can find so far so the only real damage is to the helmet , i havent even got a score neck or anything , im told the ski did cartwheel end for end and i ended up 20 feet infrot off where the ski stoped in the water,
oh yeah the polystyren liner in the helmet is broken as well

That cracking sound for me was my neck, thought I broke it. Turns out I popped it really good, hit up my chiro and other than a few sore muscles for 3 weeks Im good to go.

it is a nice helmet to wear , nice and light even when its soaked in water , they are expensive here due to the exchange rate ( i live in new zealand) but i would say they would be alot cheaper for you guys over there that one was there top off the line carbon down hill mtb helmet, time to go helmet shopping now:crying:
