Is there not a campground closer to the ride area?

I recall the LOTO trip a couple of years ago, the same dilemma, but I think I remember only wilderness, or NON electric sites closer..

dang.

the electric is NICE to have, I plug the smoker in, and toss on a chicken, a boston butt, and some ribs, and go play while it cooks.

well I'm going to make the trip but will most likely stay at our house I like to go out at night and i can walk to the horny toad, plus I really like to sleep on a bed not the ground. I guess if enough people go it would be a big party at the camp ground. What was it like last year out of water everyone has a good time in the water.:Banane35:

AJ you are going to have to go on the Kincaid and Rend lake trips they are a blast.

You probably got to watch the OSS races from your house didn't you? Nice.

Our (family) place is in the middle cove between the Village Marina and Lewis Marina coves. If you come in that area I (or my son or a friend) are the only ones riding the standups, the ones in my av.

There is covered parking... The trees provide a bunch of covering...

AJ check out the cabin trip it was a blast.. We didn't really get around to it this year but last year was HUGE... Cabin trip

entice me all you want with pork...if it's longer than 9 hrs I don't drive.

When going to the Ozarks you MUST have a good running ski.. None of this "it ran for my test ride of 10 minutes" It must be tried and true complete and in perfect running condition. I know... trust me..... All of the pictures of my ski was sitting on the beach with the flywheel off and parts spread all over the place.... I was only 1/2 mile from party cove and attempted to make it there and failed all 3 times...... I won't do that again I will take a spare motor...

Hey Moon.....if you are coming from Nashville we can carpool..... If you look at the map where I 24 joins up with I 57 in southern Illinois I am only about 8 miles from that. And then I will let you pay for fuel from there to the ozarks......
