magnum superjet pumps

ok im building my new ski,,,,,,,,,
its going to be a rippin 780 stock stroke, high comp. pipe, fully ported ect.
i want to run a magnum pump in it...
from what i know, a stock pump is 144mm
why do some people run 140mm magnums instead of 144mm? surely the bigger the better?
i have seen the 144mm for sale on jsu's site but if 140mm is better i would like to know where to get them?
cheers
Dan

I think a 140 will work better for you. If you get to the point where you can make it cavitate (which you won't be close to doing with your setup), then you might want to think about a 144.

I'm running a 142 on my SXR and love it. I would go for the bigger pump in anticipation for future power upgrades. I also hear go things about the TBM super pump cone, the Skat is a lot of added weight since its stainless steel.

oh yeah and also, i assume stock props for superjets as in scat trak and solas dont fit on the 140mm, but do they fit on the 144mm?
