Dont be sorry. I rolled :barrel: :beerchug:

Sweet..., :fing02:

And that's how it works..., one guy commits, pulls it off. Therefore, other guy starts having belief, he commits, he pulls it off, etc, etc. Everyone excels. :Banane35:
I'll tell you what. I owe it all to Roo. If I didnt meet him, my brother or I wouldn't be doing rolls I dont think. Roo is the man. Now I gotta get you to try em! I just passed the nose stabs and went right to the rolls. just set the pole on the hood and kiss the pole. :barrel:
xmetal on a 750...looks like it was done using the xmetal bracket. Scroll down for pics.

Dales Jet Sports is the cheapest way to go, and all you need is stock kawi steering. I have rode a few skis with them and really like them.

Doing a superjet conversion will cost you alot more than the Dales Jet Sports pole, almost double if you buy everything new.

Buy the dales pole, you can't go wrong for the money.

It'd be nice to find a used one. You know if that's possible? I've never even seen one on a ski. I hate the look of the AC pole though.

Just go with the dales pole. I believe he has a great lifetime guarantee...not sure if he does anymore but I remember at one point he dared people to break it.

Yes the 2 year try and break it warranty. I'm sure if it lasts longer than that pancaking rolls it will never break. What kind of steering should I get? My aluminun stop broke off of mine during the same incident :banghead:

thanks man :Banane35: you guys woulda been doing it eventually, i just helped speed things along...

XMETAL looks sweet on that one ski, plus the whole kit is a great bang for the buck. but the whole spring thing i know is an issue... i am going to get my xmetal pole shortened and do one more season out of it then make the final verdict. maybe even loosen up the bolts so it is not so hard to move.

for surf style riding i actually really like it... pole is fixed so all you really have to do is kick the ass end of the ski around. plus for your no handers :sneaky:

I dont know what you mean :sneaky: I could hold it for alot longer then :Banane25:
I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. I think I am going to try and fix my handpole right now while I get some money and see if it holds. It'll be stronger than before... At least strong enough to try some more rolls. :barrel:

at this point who cares, drill some holes through the pole, and put some bolts/nuts/whatever with a homemade bracket to hold that cable in place. Use rounded bolt holds on the top/visible part of the handle pole... hope that made sense.

as far as your stop... well... screw it... more throw :)

I am sure you could find a shop to weld something up real quick for ya.

Government job at work. Let me tell you how sweet it was making a heli oil out of aluminum. Tapping and dyeing it all on a lathe :cool2: It was bad ass. I already got my steering fixed. I'll have to show you or tell you more in detail when I see ya :deal: The pole. AC polished one for $300  I guess I might have to. It'll look good on my ski and I'll be able to ride for the cheapest, and that's kind of what I am going on right now.

Sweet! get that pole from that ski being parted out in the classified section?

I was gonna say another XMETAL advantage is you can custom order a -4" because of your height. To late now... Put less money into the Kawi and focus more on the SJ now! :sneaky:

To bad you guys were not closer for more after work shredding!

if its just ur cable mount that broke just drill through and throw in some bolts. your chinpad will still fit. I had to do it to my brothers at a race and it worked fine.

Might get this pole http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=141259 I wish I could get a -2 for around $300 shipped (AC). That'd be nice. I probably will just focus more on the SJ though soon. Just need to finish out the season and perfect the rolls. :sneaky: . You need to live over here to get some wake :pat:
