xmetal pole with xft bracket

I've only seen an xft pole on an xft bracket and from what I was told and noticed, the bracket is even lower than xmetal's. I would imagine that it would bolt on but then there might be a clearance problem when trying to raise the pole perpendicular to the ski because the xft bracket is machined with a built in pole stop. Just my $.02

First of all, the XMW pole utilizes 2 breather tubes where the XFT pole bracket uses 1 large centered breather.

Then there is the issue of the over extension stops are very different. The XMW has a unique angled stop.

XFT sure makes some nice looking stuff!!!

I'm interested in knowing if anyone has this combo too. I've got the XFT hoodkit and bracket with an oem pole and that works fine the only thing I did have to do was remount the uprights so the offset for the pole boltwas positioned toward the back. The only part that I wasn't sure about with the XMW pole fitting was the 2 bolt setup. Here a pic of mine at the moment. Anyone got a similar pic of the bolts on a XMW setup.

I have head that you should not mount a XMW pole on a billit bracket. SInce the billit does not flex it can break that pole.
If you have ever held the XMW handpole, you will know that can't be true. In 100 years, the only thing left will be roaches and the XMW handpoles.

FWIW: The biggest problem I have had with my XMW handpole is in the poor quality powder coating doesn't hold up in heavy salt conditions. They don't use a zinc base powder coat and around the area where the pole bolts go it grows like cancer.

I know of several from different people that have broken them in differnet spots. Some had them mounted on billit brackets others did not. I think XMW even told a guy with a x-jet that if he mounts the pole on the beefy x-jet bracket it would not be covered under warrenty.
