Epoxying SXR motor case?

Has anyone heard of or done any epoxying of the floor of the SXR for more bottom end? I have heard that if you take volume away from the motor case that it has better low end response. Kinda like the opposite of adding the reed spacers.

I've never heard of that done on a sxr, but I don't know much about open boats.

I believe it is called crancase stuffing. That X2 Cartel was carrying on about it in his 212 HP X2 rant. There were some links to it on that thread.
