installing msd wire set?

Got the msd wire set and I'm tryin to figure out how to install the wires into the cdi? Can anyone help me out here? btw everyone here has been crucial to me learning everything about standups, thanks alot.

Wires into CDI or your coil?

Plug wires go to the coil, not the CDI.

If you're installing them into the coil, you first need to remove the old wires from the coil.
This can be a bit tricky. They're inside the coil body about 3/4 inch. Carve those out.
Then insert the new wires, push them firmly on the spike at the bottom of the hole. Put some sealant on the wires, something that will seal it and hold it on the coil.

Tricky, yes. 3/4" no. At least mine weren't - they are more like twice that deep in mine. I spent over an hour cleaning out the old wires, haven't purchased or mounted the new wires yet. Wish I'd just bought a new coil!
